Important

Fines are controlled at two levels:

  • System settings → Defines which actions trigger fines and the amounts.

  • Individual classes → Determines whether fines are active on a specific class.

Fines cannot be switched off directly on a membership.

System settings (overall setup)

This is where the general rules for fines in the system are configured. You can define:

  • Late check-in

  • No-show

  • Late cancellation

  • Amount for each fine type

These rules apply across the entire system unless disabled on a specific class.

Enable or disable fines on a class

You can change the fine setting on both existing and upcoming classes directly in the calendar.

  1. Go to Calendar.

  2. Find the class you want.

  3. Click the pencil icon (edit).

  4. Find the "Enable fines" setting.

  5. Switch it on or off as needed.

  6. Click Save.

When creating a new schedule or editing an existing one, you can also disable fines from the start by switching off "Enable fines". To change an existing schedule, find it in the list, click the three dots, and select Edit schedule. Here you can switch "Enable fines" on or off — the change applies to all classes under that schedule.

Result

When "Enable fines" is switched off on a class:

  • No fines are charged on that class.

  • Rules for late check-in, no-show, and late cancellation do not apply.

  • Other classes are not affected.

When to use this

Use this feature if:

  • A class is a free trial session.

  • An event or workshop should not have fines.

  • You want to avoid penalties on specific class types.
