The Starting quantity field is not shown

Problem

The Starting quantity field is not shown on the page.

Possible cause

Starting quantity is only shown when Enable stock management is switched on. The field is hidden when stock management is disabled.

Solution

  1. Find the Enable stock management toggle in the Configure stock and organisation section.

  2. Switch the toggle on.

  3. The Starting quantity field will now appear — enter the desired starting stock level.

If you do not need to track stock levels, you can leave Enable stock management switched off and skip the Starting quantity field.

If the problem persists, contact support and include details about:

  • Whether Enable stock management is switched on.

  • When the issue occurred.
