Problem
The Starting quantity field is not shown on the edit screen.
Possible cause
Starting quantity is only shown when stock tracking is switched on for the first time on a product that did not previously have it. If stock tracking is already enabled, the stock quantity is managed via stock entries and not via this field.
Solution
Check whether Enable stock tracking is already switched on for the product.
If stock tracking has just been switched on for the first time, the Starting quantity field appears automatically.
Adjust the stock level via Stock adjustment if stock tracking is already active.
