You can delete your account data permanently on our website.

1. Log into the account you want to delete: Go to bookmate.com> Click or tap Log In in the top right corner of the screen> Select a login option (Email, Facebook, Twitter or Google)

2. Hover the cursor over your avatar (the round icon in the upper right corner)

3. Select Settings

4. Scroll a bit down and click or tap Delete account

5. Enter your password and (optional) a reason why you want to delete your account.

6. Click or tap Delete

Once you’ve clicked Delete, we’ll remove all the data associated with your account from our servers.

If you’ve signed up for Bookmate as one of the options in the tariff package provided by your mobile network operator, please make sure that you’ve cancelled the subscription first. We won’t be able to delete your Bookmate account if you have an active subscription provided by a mobile operator. You can find more information on your tariff package or add-ons on your mobile operator website (for example, Yettel).

Note: We won't be able to restore it for you if you change your mind, i.e. all the added books, your quotes and impressions will be lost, and there will be no more notifications about wishlisted books.

If you're willing to stop paying for Bookmate, you don't need to delete your account. You only need to cancel your subscription. In this case you will still be able to read and listen to the free books and have access to all your quotes, impressions and shelves.

Note: If you have several accounts, and you want to delete all of them, you’ll have to delete each of them separately.
