Bookmate supports EPUB and FB2 file formats. You can upload your book on the website or in the app. The uploaded books will appear in the "My Books" section within a few minutes. These books will be available only for you, the other Bookmate users won’t be able to access your book file.
Bookmate as a reader app is not responsible for the quality of self-uploaded books. If something is wrong with a book that was self-uploaded (e.g. parts of the text are missing, wrong translations, broken layout), we won't be able to fix the book.
On the website
Go to the My books section
Click Upload book or go to bookmate.com/upload
Select one or several books you would like to upload
Click Add book
On Android
In the app:
Open the app
Go to the My books section
Tap the icon Upload for free at the bottom of the screen
Select one or several books you would like to upload
Out of the app:
Select the book you want to upload
Tap it and select Open with Bookmate
On iOS
In the app
Open the app
Go to the My books section
Tap the icon Upload for free at the bottom of the screen
Select one or more books you would like to upload
Out of the app
Select the book you want to upload
Tap and hold on the file and select Share
Tap More in the menu
Select the Bookmate app
