When your service is completed, you’ll receive a detailed receipt outlining all charges related to your booking. This breakdown ensures full transparency and helps you clearly understand what you’re paying for.

Below is an explanation of each component that may appear on your receipt.

Service Charge

The Service Charge is the base cost of the service you booked. It is determined by the type of service selected (such as cleaning, handyman, pest control, etc.), the scope of work involved, the duration for hourly services, or the pre-defined pricing for fixed jobs. This amount represents the primary payment for the professional’s work.

Discount

You can receive a discount in the following ways:

  • Coupon Code

    • May provide a percentage-based discount or a fixed-value discount.

  • Redeem Reward Points

    • Applied as a fixed-value discount.

    • 100 points = 1 CAD.

Discounts are applicable on the Service Charge only and do not apply to processing fees, taxes, tips, or additional charges unless otherwise specified.

Processing Fee

This helps us maintain a secure, reliable, and seamless booking experience for you. It covers essential operational and transaction-related costs, including:

  • Secure payment gateway charges – to protect your card and transaction details

  • Platform maintenance and system security – to keep the app and website running smoothly

  • Customer support services – so assistance is available whenever you need help

This fee allows us to prioritize your safety, security, and overall booking experience.

Taxes

Applicable taxes are calculated based on your service location, local laws, and the type of service selected. Depending on where you are located, this may include federal, provincial, state, or local sales taxes (such as GST/HST in Canada or state and local sales tax in the United States).

Taxes are added to the subtotal as required by law and are clearly itemized on your receipt for full transparency.

Additional Charges (If Applicable)

In some cases, additional charges may be added to your receipt. These could include:

  • Extra time beyond the estimated duration

  • Additional services requested on-site

  • Special equipment usage

  • Supplies or materials provided by the service professional

  • Parking fees (if paid by the service professional during the job)

Any additional charges are communicated and confirmed before final invoice processing whenever possible.

Tip (Optional)

Tipping is completely optional and goes directly to your service professional as a token of appreciation for exceptional service.

You can:

  • Add a tip during checkout

  • Add a tip after service completion (if available)

The full tip amount is transferred to the professional.

Other Details

The Other Details section of your receipt provides important information about your transaction and rewards. This may include:

  • Transaction date & time – the exact date and time when the service was completed or payment was processed

  • Payment method details – such as credit card type and the last 4 digits for reference

  • Reward points credited – points you earn for this service, which can be redeemed on future bookings

  • Tax identification number (Tax ID) – for your records and any official or business purposes

These details are included for your convenience, record-keeping, and to ensure full transparency of your transaction.

We hope this guide helps you understand each component of your receipt. If you have any questions or need further clarification, our support team is always here to assist you.
