Setting Up Your BoomTown Number for Texting
Please review our TCPA Resource Guidelines before sending a text!
Click on your photo (or the silhouette image) in the upper right corner of your BoomTown account.
Select the Integrations option.
On that page, by the BoomTown Number area, select the button to Setup.
On the page where you're directed, click on the Get My Number button to enter your desired area code.
On the modal that pops up, enter your desired area code in the field provided, and click on the Get My Number button on this page to be assigned a phone number from within that area code.
Please Note: Numbers are subject to market availability, which means it's possible there is little to no inventory of a given area code. If your desired area code is unavailable, try using a different one!
Back on the Integrations page, select the Setup button for the BoomTown Number, then click on the Call Routing Number drop-down to select a number for calls to be routed to when a lead dials to call your BoomTown Number. Note that BoomTown Numbers cannot be utilized for outbound phone calls.
No numbers listed in the drop-down? Head over to your Agent or Lender profile to enter your phone numbers in the provided fields.
How to Set Up Text Notifications
Click on your photo (or the silhouette image) in the upper right corner of your BoomTown account.
Select the Integrations option.
Once on this page, go to the Text Message Notifications area and select the Enable button.
On the next page, type in your mobile number and click on the Send Verification Code button.
Wait for the verification code text to come to your phone from "txt@boomtownroi.com"
Type in your verification code and click the Finish Setup button
This will populate additional options under the Update My Text Message Settings section for you to enable or disable
