Overview

The Off-Site Lead Form tool allows the creation of forms that include fields for Name, Email, and Phone Number for use on personal websites, or Pages within your BoomTown site.

The information submitted by the website visitor will automatically go into your BoomTown system as a new lead, except when the email address submitted already exists in the system as a lead's login.

To get to the Off-Site Lead Form, click on the three orange bars in the top left corner of your BoomTown account, and select the Tools option. In the drop-down list, you'll find the Off-Site Lead Forms tab.

On the Off-Site Lead Form page, click on the Create a new form link at the top to begin building your form.

In Step 1, you'll need to enter:

  • Name / Campaign: This will serve as the name of your Off-Site Lead Form (for your own reference) as well as the Campaign tied to the leads registering through the form. So you'll want this field to include some indication of the site or landing page you're placing the form on.

  • Assign Leads To: This drop-down will allow you to select whether the leads registering through this form go into the round robin rotation (Lead Matching), or assigned to a specific Agent.

Then click Save & Continue to proceed.

Within Step 2 you'll have some flexibility on the look of your form.
You can adjust:

  • Alignment of text fields

  • Font and Font Size

  • Text Field width

  • Verbiage of Submit button,

  • Form background color,

  • Form text color

  • Border color around the form

Once you've made your adjustments, or if you're leaving these settings as is, you can see what your form looks like by clicking the Preview Form link at the bottom to open the form in a new window.

If you choose to send a customized welcome email to those leads registering through your Off-Site Lead Form, you'll need to enter the content of that follow-up email in Step 3.

The last step, Step 4, is to save your Off-Site Lead Form, and copy the iframe code provided to embed the form on your other website or landing page!
