Calendly API tokens

For starters, head on over to your Calendly account and click Integrations from the navigation bar.

  • Scroll down until you see the section titled "API & Webhooks" and click it.

  • From this page, click the "Generate new token" button to open up the token modal.

  • Give your token a name so you can remember where it is being used, I might suggest naming it "MPCRM".

  • Once your token has been generated, copy it immediately and paste it somewhere safe, like in a word document. We are going to need that token here in a second.

Selecting event calendars

  • Now that you have your token from Calendly, head back to MPCRM, navigate to your settings page, and click on the integrations tab.

  • Scroll down until you see "Calendly" and click "Set it up!".

  • Paste your Token and click "Sync".

If everything works, you should see all of your Calendly events magically appear.

Now, you can toggle which events should trigger the creation of a new lead inside MPCRM.

To ensure a new lead is not created for an existing user, you will need to add this question to your events: Are you a current client of mine? Yes -No

If the invitee is already in the CRM, nothing will happen unless you have enabled auto scope and/or auto portal.

Auto Scope - If this is enabled for a particular event, then the client/prospect will have an eSOA generated and emailed to them automatically

Auto Portal—If this is enabled for a particular event, the client/prospect will have their PURL automatically emailed to them. If no DOB field was captured on the booking, the portal will not be sent, regardless of whether it's enabled for the event.

NOTE: If you haven't already, you might need to go to the "Pages" section of the settings page and enable eSOA to view and send scopes from the profile page.
