Intro to dealer tasks
Dealer tasks is a feature in Elevate GO that allows dealer users to set up and track door-level one-off or reoccurring tasks within the platform. Tasks can be viewed and completed by employees with access to Elevate GO. These particular tasks are only visible within your dealership.
How dealer tasks can help you
Aside from making sure work gets done, dealer tasks help build better teams by letting everyone throughout the dealership know what's expected of them.
By using a tool like Elevate GO to remind everyone of tasks that need to be completed, you are reinforcing the habits you expect from your staff.
Whether it's ensuring proper receipt and set up of merchandise or signage, getting ready for a new promo, or just making sure the store is in great shape - dealer tasks are a wonderful way to make sure things get accomplished and everyone is aligned.
How to set up dealer tasks
Dealer tasks can be set up as one-off or reoccurring depending on the task.
One-off tasks are great for merch pack outs or surprise promotions that happen sporadically. Reoccurring tasks are perfect for reinforcing the things you want to happen on a regular schedule.
Any dealer user can set up door-level tasks, but only Door Owners or Door Admins can set up tasks for multiple locations or reoccurring tasks.

From any door page (Entities > Doors) click on the Tasks tab.
In the upper left corner, click Add Task.
Enter the task in the Description box.
If you would like to require a photo for completion, check the box.
Select the Due Date.
Click Save Task.
Alternatively, tasks can be added via the Store Visit App. While completing a Checklist, click the Tasks tab in the upper right corner. Click Add a Task, and follow the same steps as above.

In the Performance Management menu (heart icon), click on Task Setup.
Click Add in the upper left corner.
Enter your task in the Description box.
Set the Due Date for your task.
If you would like to require a photo to complete the task, check the Require Image for Completion box.
Choose your Task Category from the drop down menu. This will help you filter your tasks within your Task Report.
Choose the Doors you would like to assign the task to.
You can select all doors by clicking Select All in the upper right corner.
You can select multiple doors by holding the control or command key and selecting the doors you want to include.
You can have the task automatically added for new doors by checking the Auto Add to New Doors check box.
In Repeat Options, choose None in the drop down.
Click Save.

In the Performance Management menu (heart icon), click on Task Setup.
Click Add in the upper left corner.
Enter your task in the Description box.
Set the Due Date for your task.
If you would like to require a photo to complete the task, check the Require Image for Completion box.
Choose your Task Category from the drop down menu. This will help you filter your tasks within your Task Report.
Choose the Doors you would like to assign the task to.
In Repeat Options, choose the frequency you would like the task to occur in the drop down.
Set your end date. You can choose the task to end After One Year, on a specific date, or after a certain number of occurrences.
If you would like to preview your task to make sure it will work the way the you like, you can click Preview in the lower right corner.
Once you are happy with how your task is set up, click Save.

All dealer users: Visit the Door page for the task you would like to delete.
Dealer Owners and Admins: In the Performance Management menu (heart icon), click on Task Setup.
In both cases, click the X to the far right of the task you would like to delete.
Note to Dealer Owners and Admins: Deleting a task in the Task Management section will delete all occurrences of that task.

Viewing and completing tasks is easy for your staff to do via the door page or right from the Store Visit App.
