Checklist Notes

Easily leave notes on Checklists or specific questions within a Checklist.

Ever complete a Checklist and wish you could add more information on the Checklist itself, or to a particular question? Checklist Notes can help you do just that!

Checklist Notes are an easy way to add additional information to a Checklist after its been completed. You can add a note to the entire Checklist, or to specific questions within the Checklist.

How to add notes to a Checklist

Adding notes to a Checklist is easy. Simply visit the Interactions Report in the Reports menu to view all completed Checklists. Click the Eye icon to the far right of the Checklist you'd like to add notes to.

In the Checklist summary view, you will see orange Add Note + buttons at the top of the page, as well as next to each question. Click the button where you would like to add the note, enter your note, and click Add. You will see your note appear, stamped with the date, time, and your name.

Please note that notes cannot be deleted.

Viewing Checklist notes

In Elevate GO Main Site

Within the Interactions Report, a Page icon will display in the Notes column for that Checklist if it has notes. To view the notes, click the Eye icon.

Notes will appear either at the top of the page for notes on the full Checklist, or by the question they are associated with.

In the Store Visit App

You can also see Checklist notes within the Store Visit App. While completing a Checklist, you can click the Visits tab to see a list of completed Checklists. Click on the date and time stamp to view the full summary and any associated notes.

Note notifications

A daily notification email will be sent to you if notes have been added to a Checklist you've completed. This email will be sent at 9AM ET daily, and will only be sent if new notes have been added the day prior.

Use cases for Checklist notes

There are many possible use cases for notes, but here are a few to get you thinking about how you can implement notes right now:

  1. 2-way communication.

    Notes can help employees communicate about Checklists. Managers can leave notes on Checklists for Sales Reps, and Sales Reps can easily reply by adding a secondary notes.

    Notes are a wonderful way for managers to show appreciation to employees for completing checklists since the person who completed the Checklist will receive an email notification if notes have been added.

  2. Adding context to Checklist answers

    Want to add additional information to an answer? Add a note to provide this information.

  3. Correcting a mistake.

    Realize you made a mistake on your Checklist response? Easily add a note to correct the mistake and let the person reviewing the Checklist the correct response.
