LSC Administrators can connect Boostlingo to QuickBooks Online to sync invoices and map accounts, service types, and expenses between the two systems.
Important Note: Only a Root Admin can set up or edit the QuickBooks integration. You must sign in at app.boostlingo.com to set it up. It will not work from your custom branded URL.
Set up the integration
1. Sign in with your admin credentials at app.boostlingo.com and navigate to Configuration>Company>Integrations.
2. On the QuickBooks card, select Add (or Edit) to open the Quickbooks Setup wizard. Choose Quickbooks Online or Quickbooks Desktop.

3. Follow the wizard steps with your QuickBooks credentials ready: select Connect to QuickBooks Online, log in with your QuickBooks Online credentials, select Connect when prompted, then select Next.
4. When setup succeeds, the wizard shows a Congratulations! confirmation that the QuickBooks integration is configured and ready to use.
Note: If you hit an error during this process, sign in from app.boostlingo.com instead of your custom URL.
Map your accounts and settings
After connecting, map your client accounts and vendors (interpreters), and map service types to QuickBooks Items and Classes. Each setting is described below:
· Add New Customer to QuickBooks on Invoice Export — automatically create a customer in QuickBooks if one isn’t found or mapped.
· Add New Vendors to QuickBooks on Invoice Export — automatically create a vendor if one isn’t found or mapped.
· Use rate breakdown while generating invoices — create a line item per rate applied for appointments and calls.
· Time Zone — select the time zone your company does business in.
The QuickBooks mapping and settings screen
Map your appointment types, then your call types (choose a general Services category, or check Customize to map as OPI or VRI), then your Expenses, to QuickBooks Items and Classes. Select Next to finish.
Edit the settings later
You can edit these settings from a few places:
Configuration>Company>Integrations — the same place you set up the integration.
An individual account or interpreter — in the Members module, the QuickBooks column shows which accounts and interpreters are mapped. Select the icon to open the record in QuickBooks. To change an account’s settings, open the account details panel and go to the Integrations tab, select Edit, make your changes, and select Save Changes. Interpreters follow the same process, though you can only change their Map to option.

Tip: If you use QuickBooks for invoicing, you can sync Boostlingo’s invoice numbers to your QuickBooks sequence. See the “Invoice Number Sequencing” guide.
What information is exported?
Contact your Account Manager to customize which invoice fields are exported. By default, these fields are included for calls: Call ID, Requestor Name, Language Pair, Delivery Type (OPI vs VRI), Duration, Time stamp, Interpreters, Rate, pre-call fields marked “include in invoice,” minimum applied, and duration rounding.

· For LSC admins: if the connection fails or invoices aren’t syncing, first confirm you’re signed in at app.boostlingo.com (not a custom URL) as a Root Admin, then reach out to Boostlingo Support with a screenshot of the error. See also QBO integration troubleshooting.
