Adding the Boostlingo app to your Teams call

Written by Quinn Bott

Add the Boostlingo app to a scheduled Microsoft Teams meeting so you can request an interpreter without leaving the call. This article covers adding the app.

Note: These steps take place in Microsoft Teams, a third-party application. The Boostlingo Teams app is only available for scheduled Teams calls, not impromptu calls.

Add the app

  1. In your Teams call, select the Apps icon.

  2. Type Boostlingo On-Demand into the search bar and select the Boostlingo On-Demand application by selecting Add.

  3. In the pop-up, select Save to open the Boostlingo caller.

The Boostlingo app is saved under the Apps tab for future calls. If you’re already signed in, the caller opens automatically.

Next steps / Getting more help

  • Once added, sign into the Boostlingo app, then add an Interpreter.

  • For requestors: if the app doesn’t appear in the Teams app search, confirm the meeting is scheduled (not impromptu) and your Teams plan is supported, then let your LSC admin know.
