Once you’re signed into the Boostlingo app in your scheduled Teams call, you can request an interpreter and admit them. This article walks through it.
Note: These steps take place in Microsoft Teams, a third-party application. The Boostlingo Teams app is only available for scheduled Teams calls.
Request an interpreter
In the Boostlingo caller panel on the right of your call, select the Language, Service type, and the audio/video toggle.
To change your native language or interpreter gender preference, select the ellipsis in the upper-right corner of the caller, choose a language and gender, then select Apply.
Select Call. The call routes to available interpreters.
Admit the interpreter
When an interpreter accepts, their name appears in the Boostlingo app pop-out. Select Admit to let them join the call.
Next steps / Getting more help
When the session is finished, end the interpretation session.
For requestors: if a call won’t route to an interpreter, confirm the meeting is scheduled and the requested language/service type is available, then let your LSC admin know.
