Interpreter Routing & Permissions

How LSC Administrators enable and configure interpreter routing permissions so calls can be routed and appointments scheduled.

Written by Quinn Bott

LSC Administrators control how interpreters receive calls and which languages and specialized types are available to them. Interpreter permissions must be set before calls can be routed or appointments scheduled.

Enable permissions

  1. Sign in to Boostlingo as an LSC administrator.

  2. Go to Members > Interpreters and select the interpreter you want to update.

  3. Open the Permissions tab.

Settings available

  • Communication type: Telephonic, Video, Onsite, or Third Party Platform; Scheduled or On Demand.

  • Language Pairs and Specialized Types: the language pairs and specialized types this interpreter can handle.

Once permissions are in place, calls can be routed and appointments scheduled with this interpreter.

Next steps / Getting more help

For LSC admins: if an interpreter isn't receiving calls or can't be scheduled, confirm their communication type and language pair permissions are set, then contact Boostlingo Support with the interpreter's name. If you're not sure how to reach Support, contact your Account Manager.
