Event contracts are school-to-school agreements for hosted competitions. Learn how to accept or decline a contract, set up your school's contract signature, and print or manually send a contract.
Accept or decline contracts
Pending contracts will display as You - Awaiting Signature below the Contract label.
If your school is the host, no action is needed: your Primary signatory's signature is applied to the contract automatically. See Set up your school's contract signature below.
If your school is the participating school:
In Events -> Contracts, click the event you are looking for.
A new window will open with more contract details. Review the competitions and terms.
Accepting
Click ACCEPT AGREEMENT, verify that the signee is correct, and click Submit. Your school's Primary signatory is filled in for you; to sign as someone else, type their name instead.
Once both parties have signed, the contract shows both schools' signatures.
Declining
In the same window, click DECLINE AGREEMENT.
Verify the signee is correct.
Enter a brief message explaining why you declined. For example, if the scheduled time does not work, propose a new date/time here.
Click Submit.
Once you decline a contract, the contract status will show Declined, and the opposing school(s) can see that you declined.
View and edit contracts
Bulk contract view
From here, view events, whether they have contracts and the contract's status.
Events will display their status below the Contract label. Accepted displays the school(s) that accepted and signed a contract, and Awaiting shows the school(s) pending accepting & signing.

Set up your school's contract signature
Go to Events -> Setup -> Contracting.
In the Contract Signatory section, enter each authorized signatory's Title and Name. You can add up to three signatories.
Add a signature for each signatory, either:
Select which signatory is Primary. The Primary signatory's name, title, and signature are used on contracts your school hosts.
Click Save.
Note: You can update your signatories at any time. Changes apply to future contracts; contracts that are already signed keep the signature that was on them.
Note: To add your signature to contracts created before you set this up, click Apply my signature to pending contracts.
The Contract Signatory is separate from your contract notification recipients. The person who signs contracts does not need to be the person who receives contract emails.
Print a contract
You can print a contract before or after it is signed.
On the event, open Contracts.
Click the printer icon next to the contract.
The contract opens as a one-page document.
If a school has already signed electronically, its signature appears in the signature area. If not, the document shows a blank signature line with a date field, so a school can print the contract, sign it by hand, scan it, and return it.
Manually send a contract
Event contracts are automatically pushed out at midnight. Sending the contract manually is optional in many cases. However, some organizations require manual contract setup as outlined below.
You must be the event host to setup/manage/send event contracts.
In Events, find the event you are sending the contract for.
Click Setup Contract.
Enter a Title and any Disclaimer information.
You must indicate the Fee Type.
Per Event: One fee for the whole event (every session)
Per Competition: Fee required for each session
None: No fee
Click on the team name you are sending the contract to under Parties. The team will appear greyed out when unselected.
If multiple schools are displayed, you can bulk select by clicking Select All.
If you have a PDF of your contract, upload it under PDF Contract.
Click Publish Contract.
Review and Send. Click Send Message at the top of the window to send a notice that the contract was published and is ready to sign.
Click Send. Once sent, the event is locked; only the current host will be able to edit or delete event details.
