The FMX Integration Mapping allows you to link your Bound venues, facilities, and facility spaces to their corresponding locations in FMX.
Once mapped, events created in Bound automatically generate schedule requests in FMX. If multiple facilities or times are selected for a single event, separate schedule requests will be created in FMX for each mapped space.
Initial setup
Create the FMX API user type
Navigate to the User Types section in the admin settings. Create a new type with the following configuration:

Note: Any permissions not listed can remain at their default settings.
Create the API user account
Navigate to the Users & Contacts page.
Click Add record in the top right, then select User.
Enter the account details:
Name: Bound sync user
Email: boundsynceri@gofmx.com (use a generic/dummy email, not an individual's email)
User type: FMX API
Set Password settings:
Select Set password or Auto-generate password.
IMPORTANT: Uncheck 'Require user to change password after logging in'
Click Save.
Import and map FMX ID's in Bound
Enable account for FMX
Your Bound director or onboarding specialist will request you provide the appropriate FMX credentials required to connect your account. Once your credentials are updated in Bound, your director/onboarding specialist will notify you to begin the steps below.
Download FMX buildings & resource CSV files
Sign in to your FMX account and navigate to the Buildings tab. In the upper right corner, open the Export dropdown. Click CSV below Raw Data. Repeat those steps in Resources & Locations.
Import the CSV files into Bound
After downloading the CSV files from FMX, sign into Bound and go to your dashboard. Click Venues, then Import FMX IDs. Upload the files you downloaded in the respective box where it says 'Choose file...' for Buildings and Resources.
Click Preview Mappings. Review the mappings. Exact matches will automatically map, and you can manually match from the dropdowns. Click Save Mappings when everything has been verified.
After saving, your integration is live, and anything scheduled in those Bound locations will appear as schedule requests in FMX.
