Supporters and Ads Overview
Bound lets schools leverage local sponsorships by placing ads across various surfaces that your users interact with. Learn how sponsorships work, how to add a 'Supporter,' and how to upload ads and control where they appear.
A sponsor must be set up as a Supporter before ads can be assigned to them. The Supporter is the entity sponsoring your school, and the Ad(s) holds the graphics themselves.
A single Supporter can have multiple Ads. For example, a local pizza shop sponsoring your school can simultaneously run a 'Web Banner' on your school site, a 'Social Card' on game previews, and their logo on digital tickets.
Add a Supporter
From the school dashboard, click Business in the lefthand menu, then click Supporters.
Click Manage Supporters in the top right corner, then click Add Supporter.
In the Details card, enter the business Name, and the First Name and Last Name of your contact at the business.
Add a Description, Phone, Email, and the business's Address, City, State, and Zip.
Check Title Sponsor if this business holds your Title Sponsor position (highest sponsor tier).
Click Save.
Note: To add multiple vendors at once, click Manage Supporters -> Import Supporters.
Printable Program Settings
Each Supporter has its own Printable Program card controlling how the business appears in printable game day programs.
Show: Check to include this Supporter in the printable program.
Display Name: The name printed in the program, if different from the business Name.
Level Order: A number controlling where the Supporter sorts within its level.
Level Display: The sponsorship level label shown in the program (for example, Gold or Platinum).
Click Save in the Printable Program card to apply these settings.
Tags
Use the Tags card to label Supporters for your own organization and filtering. Enter tags, then click Save.
Create an Ad
From the lefthand menu, click Business -> Ads, then click Add Advertisement in the top right corner.
Enter an Ad Name.
Set the Status. Only Active ads display.
Select the Supporter this ad belongs to. The Supporter must already exist; see the Add a Supporter section above.
Select a Category. The Category sets where the ad displays and the image size it needs. Each option in the dropdown lists its dimensions, see Ad Dimensions section for guidance.
Toggle Show on School Pages to On if the ad should also display on your school's website pages.
Under Activities, check each sport or activity the ad should run with, or click Select All.
Optionally, enter the Amount the sponsor paid. This is for your own record keeping.
Enter a Link. This is the page the ad opens when someone taps or clicks it. Work with your Supporter to determine what this link will be.
Under Image, click Choose File and upload the creative asset. Match the dimensions required for the Category you selected.
Click Save.
Note: Ads display based on their Status. To pull an outdated ad without deleting it, edit the ad and set its Status to Inactive.
