When two schools share an activity through a co-op sponsorship, each school can run their own registration. The host school owns the activity's program and roster, while the co-op in-school sends its students to participate.
Bound keeps the fees separate by giving each school its own registration and its own paid option so that the schools collect from their respective students. The host school makes its registration visible to co-op students, giving them a $0 fee registration option, allowing those students to join the hosts activity without paying. They pay their own school through that school's registration.
This article is an optional alternative method. If the co-op-in school does not want to run its own registration for the program, all sign-ups can happen at the host school instead. In that setup, the co-op-in school does not set up the program at all. Its students register only through the host school's registration.
Note: Co-op agreements are handled separately, through the association forms process. This guide assumes the sponsorship is already approved.
Set up the host's school's registration
For the school that owns the activity's program and roster:
In your school dashboard, go to Students.
In Students, go to Registration -> Setups, click Manage Setups, then click Add Registration Setup from the dropdown.
If it is not already on, toggle on Show to Co-op Students.
Set a default fee under Registration Fee or leave it and set each option's fee individually in the next section.
Save the new/edited setup.
Add the Host option (paid)
In the registration setup, open the Options tab.
Click Add Option.
Enter a name that identifies this as the host school's own students.
Enter the activity Fee for the host's students.
Set Max Registrants, or leave at 0 for unlimited spots.
Save Option.
Add the Co-op option ($0)
Click Add Option again.
Enter a name that identifies this as the co-op option so co-op families & students recognize it.
Enter
0in the Fee field. This setting is what will keep co-op students from paying the host school.Set the Max Registrants or set it to 0, then click Save Option.
Set up the co-op-in school's registration
Do this in the co-op-in school, the school whose students participate in the host's activity.
Go to Registration -> Setups.
Click Add Registration Setup.
On the Setup tab, select the Program for the activity and complete the registration details.
Under Co-op Visibility, leave Show to Co-op Students off. This registration is for your own students only.
Set the Fee your school collects from its own students, under Registration Fee or on the option.
Click Save Registration Setup.
