Sending Co-op Registrations to the Host School & Importing as the Host

Learn how the Download Co-op Move CSV action works, how to download the file at the non-host school, and how to import the list at the host school.

When two schools share an activity through a co-op, the school that does not host the program can collect its own registrations and then hand that list to the host school. The Download Co-op Move CSV action builds a file that the host school can import, so a family only registers once at their school.

The action appears only on a program where your school is the non-host side of a co-op. On a regular program, or on the host school's own copy of the program, the option will not appear.

Download the CSV at the Non-Host School

  1. Go to Programs and open the co-oped program.

  2. Click Students in the program.

  3. Click Manage Students -> Download Co-op Move CSV.

  4. Send the file to the host school.

Note: Download CSV, directly above it, is the plain roster export. It is not shaped for the host school's import.

Import the List at the Host School

These steps happen in the host school's Bound dashboard.

  1. Go to Students.

  2. Click Manage Students -> Import Students.

  3. Set Column Separator to Tab.

  4. Set Senior Graduation Year to the current school year.

Leave Archive Missing Students off. It archives students who are not listed on the import, and a co-op move file lists only the co-op students, so turning it on would archive the rest of your roster.

  5. Leave Archive Duplicate Student IDs and Override Graduation Year off as well. Neither applies to a co-op move file.

  6. Open the CSV file and copy the whole thing. Tip: Open the file as a spreadsheet; se CTRL + A to select all cells including the headers, then copy

  7. Paste the rows from the co-op move file into the Data box. The first row must be the header row.

  8. Click Continue to Mapping.

  9. On Import - Map Columns, review the field each column header points to.

  10. Click Run Import. Rows that match more than one existing student are skipped.

Once completed, you will receive an email summary. Click View Students to see the imported students; Import History to see past imports.
