Set up a Worker Registration

Learn how worker registration works, how to create a registration, how to add options, how to share or copy a registration, and how to set worker registration settings.

A worker registration collects what your organization needs from workers before they work: personal information, an age confirmation, conviction status answers, and the options they're registering for. Workers complete it from their Worker Dashboard. Once a registration is set up, workers see open shifts after they finish it.

Note: The Registration page appears under Workers when Show Registration tab on the admin side is on. See Worker Settings below.

How Worker Registration Works

A registration has a Details section and up to four steps that workers see in order:

  • Options: Required. Workers choose what they're registering for.

  • Personal Information: Required. Name, contact information, address, and more.

  • Age Verification: Optional. Workers check a box to confirm their age.

  • Conviction Status: Optional. Yes or no questions and a signed agreement.

Workers see Personal Information as Attributes and Conviction Status as Status Verification. For each question or field in those steps, choose Request or Require.

NOTE: Changes you save after a worker has registered don't change that worker's information or ask them to complete anything else.

Create a Registration

  1. Go to Events -> Workers -> Registration.

  2. Click Manage Registrations -> Add Registration.

  3. Under Details, enter the Name, Description, and Disclaimer, and set the Open Date, Close Date, and times.

  4. Turn on any settings you need:

    • Require Approval: Workers aren't considered registered until you approve them.

    • Hide Registration Link: The registration doesn't show in workers' registration list. Share its link instead.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Set up each step:

    • Age Verification: Turn on Show Age Verification Step, then edit the Description and Agreement with Checkbox text.

    • Conviction Status: Turn on Show Conviction Status Step, choose Request or Require for each question, and edit the Agreement with Signature and Date text.

    • Personal Information: Choose Request or Require for each field.

    • Options: Add a Description if you like.

  7. Click Save under each section you change.

Add Options

Options are what workers register for, such as concessions for a set of seasons.

  1. On the Registration page, click the pencil next to the registration, then click the Options tab.

  2. Click Manage Options -> Add Option.

  3. Set the Status, Position, Name, Description, dates, and times, and check the Seasons the option covers.

  4. Click Save.

To change the order options appear in, click Manage Options -> Manage Positioning.

Open or Close a Registration

  1. On the Registration page, click the pencil next to the registration.

  2. Under Status, choose Active or Inactive. Only active registrations show on the live registration page. Set a registration to inactive to stop accepting registrations.

  3. Click Save.

Share the Registration Link

  1. Open the registration and click the Share Link tab.

  2. Click Copy Link and send it to workers.

Anyone without a worker account has one created when they open the link.

Copy a Registration

  1. Use the year switcher at the top of the page to choose the school year to copy into.

  2. Click Manage Registrations -> Copy Registration.

  3. Choose the Source Registration, then check Copy Options and Copy Questions to include them.

  4. Click Copy.

See Who Has Registered

On the Registration page, click the Registered Workers tab. Filter the list by gender, status, stage (Registered, Rejected, or Rejected: Permanent), or category.

Worker Settings

  1. Go to Events -> Workers -> Event Setup, then click the Settings tab.

  2. Turn settings on or off:

    • Worker needs to receive link or email to register/signup: Workers need your signup link or an invite to join.

    • Show Registration tab on the admin side: Shows the Registration page under Workers.

  3. Click Save.
