A signup puts shifts on an event so workers can claim them or you can assign them. The method depends on when you're creating it:
Before the season: Apply a template to many events at once. This is the most efficient method.
During the season: Add a signup to a single event, from a template or from scratch.
Note: Once a template is applied to an event, that event's signup is independent of the template. Template edits don't change signups already on events.
Apply a Template to Multiple Events
Go to Events -> Workers -> Event Setup.
Click Create New Signup -> Create From Template.
Click the green button next to the template you want.
Edit the Setup Name and Description if needed.
For each shift, set when it starts and ends: enter a number of minutes, then choose before, at, or after the event start.
NOTE: Don't skip the shift times. Both the start and the end are set relative to the event's start time, never its end time. Bound uses them to calculate each shift's actual hours on every event, and those hours drive hourly pay.
Tip: Use Shift Instructions for timing minutes can't capture, such as "shift ends after the 5th inning."
Click Events.
Check each event to apply the signup to. Use + Add Filter to narrow the list, or click Select -> Select All.
Click Save.
The signups appear on the Signups tab with Workers Assigned and Workers Needed counts for each event.
Add a Signup to a Single Event
From the Manage Events Page
Go to Events -> Workers -> Manage Events.
Find the event and click + Add a Worker Setup.
To start from a template, choose one under Create from Template (optional). Otherwise, enter a Name and Description.
Open Signup (allows workers to freely sign up) is checked by default. Uncheck it if only you will assign workers.
Click Save.
From the Events Page
Go to Events and find the event.
Click the Workers icon (the people icon) on the event.
Enter a Name and Description.
Open Signup (allows workers to freely sign up) is checked by default. Uncheck it if only you will assign workers.
Click Save.
Click + Add Shift and enter the shift details. The fields match those in a template, except you set the shift's actual Start Time and End Time for this event.
Click + Add Shift at the bottom of the form. Repeat for each shift.
Note: Adding a signup from the Events page always starts from scratch. To start a single event's signup from a template, use the Manage Events page.
From the Event Setup Page
Go to Events -> Workers -> Event Setup.
Click Create New Signup -> Create Without Template.
Enter the Name and Description, choose the School Year, and choose the Event.
Click Shifts, then click + Add Shift and enter the shift details. The fields match those in a template.
Click Save.
