Creating a Signup for a Single Event

Here is a step-by-step tutorial for creating a worker signup for a single event!

Updated over a week ago

1. Begin by logging in, going to the Events page, and then clicking Workers.

2. Click the "Create New Signup" dropdown menu in the upper righthand corner, anc choose the option " Create From Template".

3. Enter the "Name" of the signup, "Description" (optional), "School Year", and then choose the "Event". Then click the "Shifts" tab below the "General Information" section.

4. In the "Shifts" section, enter all the shift options you'd like to be part of this signup.

To add a shift, enter the "Shift Name", choose the shift "Type", shift "Location", add any specific shift "Instructions", "Minimum" and "Maximum" workers needed for that shift, and shift "Start Time" and "End Time" (this can also be typed into the instructions if not a specific time). If you don't want that shift to be openly available for workers to sign up for, uncheck the "available for Public Signup" box. Once you've entered all the shift info, click "Add Shift".

Repeat until all needed shifts have been added for this template, then click "Save Template" at the bottom.

5. You should now see the new signup listed on the Signups page. From here you can click the green button next to a signup to view its reporting and manually assign a worker to a shift. Or click the edit button to edit that signup. This signup will now also be available to workers in their accounts to sign up for shifts at these events.

On the right side of this list, you'll see a summary of how many workers are needed for an event, and how many there are already signed up / assigned.
