How do I set up additional charges?

In the “Additional Charges” section you can customize various fees for your property. To start, click Properties and select the listing you wish to edit. From there, scroll down on the sidebar menu (beneath your property photo on the left), and click "Rates."

The additional charges options include:

Cleaning Fee: Set a per-stay total rate in the blank field.

Damage Deposit: If your property is in a Boutique Back-Up covered location, the site will alert you that your property is insured. If it’s not, you'll select your preference for collecting and returning the damage deposit from the drop-down menu.

Extra Guest Fee: Enter the cost per additional guest, specify the number of guests this fee applies to, and choose whether the charge is nightly, weekly, or per booking.

Pet Fee & Event and Photoshoot Fees: These are only adjustable if you’ve opted in for them in your Policies and Rules. You can set flat fees for events and photoshoots, and for the pet fee, you can choose whether it's per day or per stay.

Custom Fees: These are unique fees, such as pool heating or linen fees. Click the “Add a custom fee” box, provide a title, and input the amount.

Clearly listing these charges on your property helps guests know what to expect and ensures transparency. To remain competitive, it's important to keep your fees reasonable based on market norms.
