Create a Material Requirements Plan (MRP)

Create a Material Requirements Plan (MRP) in BRAINR to turn MPS planning into actionable production.• Identify required raw materials and allocate production to lines. • Generate orders aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS). • Use the results to align planning and execution.

MRP converts the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into detailed requirements and orders.• Considers raw material availability, production capacity, and operational constraints. • Gives a complete view of what to produce, when, and with which materials.

Important Notes

If you add products manually here, they are not linked to a customer/address. • Label data will not be sent to labeling machines. • Fix it by opening the generated order later and filling the customer/address before printing/processing labels.

Open the MRP Application

  1. From the Homepage, go to the "Production Requirements Plan (MRP)" app located in the Production Planning section.

  2. The app displays all existing MPS records in one of the following statuses:

    • Draft

    • Open

    • Calculated

  3. Click + Create Schedule to start a new MRP.
