Create a Master Production Schedule (MPS)

Create a Master Production Schedule (MPS) in BRAINR to calculate production and purchasing requirements.• Uses product inputs, sales orders, purchase orders, and current stock to plan demand. • Helps forecast needs and align both production and purchasing with operational reality.

Important Notes

  • Sales Orders – Always check the delivery dates and avoid selecting duplicate or inconsistent orders.

  • Sales Forecasts – Make sure your forecast dates are accurate; they directly affect production and purchasing calculations.

  • MPS Updates – Any change (additions or edits) made in the MPS automatically updates the related MRP. After saving, always review the MRP to confirm all changes are applied correctly.

Open the Master Production Schedules module

  1. From the Homepage, go to the "Master Production Schedules (MPS)" module located in the Production Planning section.

  1. You’ll see all existing schedules listed by status: Draft, Open, Calculated, Finished.

  1. To create a new schedule, click Create Master Schedule in the top-right corner.
