Manage Master Production Schedules (MPS) in BRAINR to view, edit, and control production plans.• View, create, edit, cancel, and close MPS documents. • Generate related Material Requirements Planning (MRP) documents from an MPS.
Important Notes
Recalculating an MPS automatically updates linked MRPs, no manual refresh needed. Always review the MRP afterward to confirm all adjustments applied correctly.
Accessing the Master Production Schedules module
From the Homepage, navigate to the Production Planning section.
Select the Master Production Schedules (MPS) module.
In this view, you’ll find a list of all existing Master Production Schedules organized by status:
Draft
Open
Calculated
Finished
Managing MPSs in Bulk
You can cancel or close multiple MPSs at once using the bulk action feature:
Multi-select the desired MPS records from the list.
Click the Action button located in the table header.
Choose Cancel or Close as available.
Note:
Managing Individual MPSs
Each MPS can be managed individually:
Locate the desired MPS in the list.
Click the three-dot menu at the end of its row.
Choose from the available actions:
Details – View MPS details.
Edit – Modify MPS data (not available when status = Finished).
Cancel – Cancel the selected plan.

MPS Details View
In the Details View, users can access six tabs displaying information about the selected MPS.
Overview Tab
Displays general information, including:
MPS description
Start and end dates
Other general attributes
At the bottom of the Overview page, a Results Table appears once the MPS has been calculated, showing calculation results.
Other Tabs
The remaining tabs reflect the information entered during MPS creation or editing. These include Live Poultry Entry, Sales Orders, Production for Stock, Raw Material Purchase, and Stock Inventory.
Generating MRP from MPS
Once an MPS is calculated, users can generate one or multiple MRP documents linked to it.
After generating an MRP, its document number will appear under the "Planning No." column in the Results Table.
There’s no limit to how many MRPs can be generated for a single MPS.
Each new MRP will create a new row in the results table showing its unique Planning No.
Editing an MPS
The Edit function is available for all statuses except Finished.
In the edit view, you can add, import, edit, or remove key data such as:
Live poultry entry
Sales orders
Production for inventory
Raw material purchase
Stock inventory
Note:
For detailed instructions on creating or editing an MPS, refer to the guide 0031.150||Create a Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Reconciling Sales Orders
The Reconciliation action is available in any MPS status. It’s useful when an MPS was created using sales order suggestions (due to orders not yet arrived), allowing you to match those suggestions with actual arrived sales orders.
Accessing Reconciliation
From the list view: Select an MPS and choose Reconciliation from the three-dot menu.
From the details view: Select Reconciliation from the available actions.
You’ll be redirected to the Sales Orders Reconciliation page.
Reconciliation Process
The system automatically matches suggestions to actual sales orders based on:
Same partner and address.
Delivery date within the MPS start and end dates.
Review the matched lines in the reconciliation table, which displays:
Real sales order quantity.
Suggested quantity.
Difference between them.
Select lines to reconcile:
Lines are pre-selected for reconciliation.
Deselect any lines you want to keep as suggestions.
Edit quantities (optional):
Pre-filled with the real sales order quantity.
Manually adjust if needed.
Post-Reconciliation Behavior
