General Pallet Weighing

Use General Pallet Weighing to weigh a pallet (with boxes) and print a pallet label with the correct net weight.• The net weight is calculated as gross weight minus tares (pallet + boxes). • Confirm the product, batch, and tares, then print the pallet label.

Important Notes

  • Check if the pallet and box tares are already configured for the product you wish to weigh; if not, configure them first in the web app's "Products" section.

How to open the app

  1. On the tablet app, go to the Weighing section.

  2. Tap the tile “General Pallet Weighing”.

  3. You will see a list of products that are eligible for weighing.

To find your product faster you can:

  • Use the quick filters by product family to narrow the list.

  • Use the search field to type the product code or name.

Tap the product tile to open the weighing screen for that product.

Configure the batch

On the left side of the screen you define which batch of the product you are weighing.

Select an existing batch

  1. Tap the Batch field.

  2. Choose the correct batch from the list.

  3. The batch is now linked to this pallet weighing.

Create a new batch

If the batch does not exist yet:

  1. Tap “+ Create batch” next to the Batch field.

  2. You are redirected to the batch creation page.

  3. Enter the new batch number and fill in all required attributes.

  4. Save the batch.

  5. You return to the weighing screen and the new batch appears automatically filled in the Batch field.

Configure tares

On the right side of the screen you configure the tares (pallet and boxes) that will be subtracted from the gross weight.

Automatic tare configuration

If tares are already configured for this product in the web app, the fields are filled automatically:

  • Pallet to be weighed and its unit weight

  • Boxes within the pallet and box unit weight

  • Number of boxes on the pallet

  • Total tare weight (pallet + all boxes)

Change the tare configuration

You can still adjust the tare configuration:

  • Change the pallet type or box type by selecting other configured tares from the dropdowns.

  • If the tare allows variable weight, you can edit the unit weight value.

  • Change the number of boxes on the pallet.

The system recalculates the Total tare weight automatically. This total will later be subtracted from the gross weight you provide.

Note To create or maintain tare configurations you must use the web app, in the “Products” section, by opening the product and editing its tare settings.

Get the net weight

At the bottom right you see the Pallet net weight section. Here the system calculates the net weight by subtracting the total tare weight from the gross weight.

There are two ways to provide the gross weight, depending on how the workstation was configured:

Workstation connected to a scale

  1. Place the pallet (with boxes) on the connected scale.

  2. Tap the “Get weight” button.

  3. The system reads the gross weight from the scale.

  4. The tare weight configured is automatically subtracted.

  5. The net weight of the pallet is displayed in the Pallet net weight field.

Workstation without scale connection

  1. Weigh the pallet using an external scale.

  2. Tap the “Enter weight” button.

  3. A modal opens asking for the gross weight of the pallet (pallet + all boxes).

  4. Enter the gross weight and save.

  5. The system subtracts the tare weight and shows the net weight in the Pallet net weight field.

Print the pallet label

When all information is filled in and the net weight is correct:

  1. Confirm that:

    • Product and batch are correct.

    • Tare configuration and number of boxes are correct.

    • Net weight is displayed and within the allowed range.

  2. Tap “Print pallet label”.

  3. The pallet label is sent to the configured printer and should print immediately.
