Delete, Copy, or Edit an Asset

Need to delete, copy, or edit your assets? There are a couple of different ways to do that.

This article describes how to delete multiple assets at one time, to delete a single asset, and how to copy and edit assets.

Deleting assets

There are two ways to delete assets; using the multi-select option, or by deleting a single asset. You can delete assets from the Assets dashboard or from a Brand card’s Brand Assets tab.

Using multi-select to delete assets

To quickly delete one or more assets, click on the multi-select checkbox for the asset or assets you would like to delete. Next, click on the Actions button and select Delete.

Deleting a single asset

To delete a single asset, you can click on the asset row's action menu. At the bottom left of the pop up click on the Delete Asset button.

Copying an asset

You can only copy one asset at a time. To copy an asset, click on the asset row action menu and choose Copy from the options.

Edit the name of the copy and click 'Save Copy'.

A copied asset will retain the Brand Card, Category, Workspace, Source, and notes that are attributed to the original.

Editing assets

There are two ways to edit assets; using the multi-select option, or by editing a single asset. You can edit assets from the Assets dashboard or from a brand card’s Brand Assets tab.

Using multi-select to edit assets

To quickly edit one or more assets, click on the multi-select checkbox for the asset or assets you would like to edit. Next, click on the Actions button and select Edit.

When using the multi-select option to edit notes, the editable fields for an asset are Name, Brand Card, Workspace, and Category.

Editing a single asset

To edit a single asset, you can click on the asset row's action menu. When editing a single asset the editable fields for the asset are Name, Brand Card, Workspace, and Category. and Notes.
