How to log Sickness

A quick and simple guide to logging sickness in Breathe

Sickness is a core part of Breathe's functionality. It's an integrated module so can't be switched off.

You can update employee sickness for them and change the status to 'completed', or 'raise a query' if more information is needed.

To create a new sickness record, head over to the employee's profile > sickness tab.

Click on the blue '+' icon to create a new sickness record.

Here you can add the details of the sickness, including start date, end date (if applicable) and sickness type.

If the setting has been enabled for them to do so (via Configure > Settings > Change what people can see and do > Report their own sickness) employees can report their own sickness, which will notify their line manager/HR user. They can do this from their own profile > sickness > + button:

You can add your own sickness types by heading to Configure > Settings > Picklists > Sickness types.
