In this guide, we've summarised some frequently asked questions on the Reporting area of Breathe.
Q: Why are no results showing when I try to run a report?
A: Please check the following:
If you know there are records to display in a report and none are showing, you will need to make sure you have ticked filters in each relevant category in order for the information to show, as all filters are switched off by default.
Make sure you're filtering the report by the relevant year, if applicable.
βSome reports will require you to enter a date that the record started for the information to display, e.g. you will need to enter a start date before a sickness record began in order for it to show.
βIf you have more than 1000 training records, a message will appear within the training report advising you to use the filters to narrow down the information you're looking for.
Q: How do I export a report from Breathe to Excel?
A: You can do this by clicking on the blue icon in the top right corner of the report:
Q: Why can't I see a salary report?
A: Access to reports depends on the permissions that have been assigned to you. Only users with Finance access will be able to view remuneration-related reports such as salary and expenses.
HR users can view reports that include employee information (such as holiday, sickness, reports that contain personal information).
Please see the below guide which explains user permissions in more detail:
Q: Can line managers see reports?
A: Line managers can access certain reports for their employees.
Q: I need to format the data in a report differently. How can I do this?
A: If you export reports from Breathe to Excel and you need to manipulate your data further, you may need to copy the information across into a blank spreadsheet.
