What to do if a client wants to take Breathe directly?

How to transition clients from Partner to direct Breathe accounts

If you're managing a Breathe client that wishes to transition to a direct client account, the process is straightforward. You can follow these steps to below request the change.

Transferring accounts involves a structured process depending on specific scenarios, such as moving an account from an HR partner to a company or between partners.


How to Request a Client Account Change or Transfer

If you no longer wish to remain the Breathe partner of a client account, we ask that you send an email to your Breathe Account Manager or partnership@breathehr.com with the client on Cc.

This written communication serves as a consent confirmation, which is essential for the process.

The new admin must also send an email to partnership@breathehr.com, confirming their intention to switch to a direct account.

Additionally, the new admin must update the payment details via Configure > Plan and Billing to ensure the account remains active.

Please note: Whoever will be the new admin will need to be set up as a HR user before we can make the necessary changes.

Furthermore, they must ensure the payment details are up-to-date to avoid service interruptions.

The Partnership Team will efficiently process and action this request. Once completed, the client account will no longer be listed within the Partner Hub as an account to manage.

The new admin will gain access to manage the account, and existing client permissions will remain intact unless specified otherwise.

Migrating an Account to a New Partner Platform

To migrate an account to a new Breathe HR partner platform:

  1. Confirmation: Obtain confirmation from the designated individual or team (e.g., HR representative).

  2. Billing Information: Clarify whether the account will be managed and paid directly by the customer or through the new partner organization.

  3. Account Migration: Once the above points are confirmed, Breathe will process the request to migrate the account to the new partner platform.
