Client notifications in Brindlechute keep your guests informed with smart, automatic messages—so your operation stays smooth and personal.
What They Do
These emails go out automatically during the booking flow—confirming trips, sharing invoices, reminding clients, and following up after trips.
Most messages are always on and can’t be turned off, but every client email can be customized to sound like you.
Customizing Your Emails
Every client email can be edited to reflect your outfitter’s brand, voice, and values. For each email, you can customize the content as well as the call-to-action button—including the text on buttons like View Itinerary, so the button language matches your trips and your voice.
A few templates also have extra options worth knowing about:
Pre-Trip Reminder – Choose when it sends (e.g., 3 days before). Add packing tips or helpful links.
Post-Trip Follow-Up – Set the timing and link to a survey, review form, or rebooking offer.
Automatic Payment Notice – Notifies clients of a scheduled charge 2 days before. Can be turned off.
Invoice Reminders – Automated nudges for deposits, final payments, or overdue balances.
ACH Payment Confirmations – Sends a confirmation when a payment is initiated and another when the ACH payment settles and executes.
Choosing How They’re Sent
Each client notification can be set to deliver in the way that works best:
Email only
SMS only
Email + SMS
Click your outfitter name in the top left to open Organization settings, select Notifications, open the Client tab, and under each notification use the Send Via toggle to pick your delivery method.
All Notifications (Master Toggle)
On the Client tab, you’ll also see an All Notifications toggle.
If this is turned off, it will temporarily stop all automated client communications for all bookings. This pauses emails and SMS messages system-wide until you turn it back on.
This can be helpful during setup, testing, or special circumstances when you need to pause outgoing messages.
Why Customize
Even one thoughtful edit helps you:
Set clear expectations
Reinforce what makes your trips special
Build trust and increase rebookings
Offer a consistent brand voice, even at scale
These messages are global—they apply to all bookings. That’s why small improvements can make a big impact.
Best Practices
Update messages seasonally (think: fishing tips, gear changes, weather prep)
Keep your tone friendly and consistent
Focus your effort on pre- and post-trip emails—they’re where clients feel the most
