Unpaid After Payment Reminders Team Notification

Admins get a morning email listing bookings that are still unpaid after all their deposit or final payment reminders have gone out, with a link to each booking.

What Triggers It

When all of a booking's deposit or final payment reminders have gone out and the client still hasn't paid, Brindlechute lists that booking in the Unpaid After Payment Reminders email. It's sent in the morning.

A booking is listed once for each run of reminders: once if its deposit reminders run out unpaid, and again if its final payment reminders later run out unpaid. It isn't repeated every day.

What the Email Includes

A table with one row per booking:

  • Client

  • Trip date

  • Ran out — which reminders ran out (Deposit or Final payment)

  • Paid — what the client has paid so far

  • Overdue — the amount past due

  • Remaining — the balance left on the booking

  • View booking — a link to open the booking

The list reflects what's happened since the reminders ran out. Payments, cancellations, re-sent invoices, and moved due dates are all taken into account.

This email is for your team only. The client doesn't receive it, and it doesn't charge the client or send them anything.

Who Receives It

Admins in your organization, by email only. Each Admin can turn it off for themselves without changing it for anyone else. See Customize Your Personal Notification Preferences as a Team Member.

Turning It Off for Your Organization

  1. Click your organization name at the top of the left sidebar.

  2. Click Notifications, then open the Team tab.

  3. Find Unpaid After Payment Reminders and turn it off.

Changing the Wording

On the Team tab, click Edit template under Unpaid After Payment Reminders to change the subject and message. Keep the {{{ unpaidBookingsTable }}} field in the message, because that's where the list of bookings appears.
