What is Wellpass?
Wellpass is a platform that allows its members to access thousands of partnered studios from one app. With the bsport <> Wellpass integration, you can expand your studio’s reach by making it visible to a wide network of potential members.
By integrating with Wellpass, you’ll open your studio doors to new members and help grow your business!
How to set up the Wellpass integration
Review your current process: if you were previously using a workaround to work with Wellpass, you'll have to adapt your process.
For example, if you previously asked Wellpass members to book through bsport platform, and if you gave them free passes, you need to edit previous instructions and stop providing those free passes: Wellpass members must book through Wellpass, and the integration will automatically book them on bsport and provide them special passes.
Step 0: Contact Wellpass
If you don’t have a contract with Wellpass yet, you’ll need to contact them to initiate one. The onboarding process typically takes between 2 to 6 weeks.
Step 1: Activate the add-on feature
Navigate to Settings > bsport subscription to enable the Wellpass add-on.
Step 2: Contact your Account Manager
Your Account Manager will enable the integration for you.
Step 3: Enable your sessions to be listed on marketplaces
If Wellpass is the first marketplace you setup, you will have to edit session settings to enable the toggle “allow marketplace bookings”. This will ensure your sessions are published on the Wellpass app.
How the integration works:
Sessions
When you create a session on bsport, it will automatically be published on Wellpass - provided that you have toggled on the setting at session-level to “Enable marketplace bookings”
When you edit or cancel sessions on bsport, it will be reflected on Wellpass.
The synchronisation takes place everytime a Wellpass member visits your Wellpass page, or every 30 minutes.
Bookings
Bookings from Wellpass members must follow the same booking window rules as your other members.
Wellpass checks in real-time with bsport if the booking is possible.
For each booking, the member will receive a special pass named "wellpass" with 0 credits.
For first-time bookings at your studio, a new member account will be created with the member's first name, last name and email adress.
Important Notes
Spot Scheduling: If your session uses spot scheduling, Wellpass members will be automatically assigned a spot rather than choosing one.
Late cancellation: You’ll define your late cancellation policy during contract negotiations with Wellpass. This rule will take precedence over the one configured in bsport.
Grouped Sessions: While workshop sessions are synchronized with Wellpass, grouped sessions are not.
