In order to make sure your Access Control auto-entry installation works as best as possible, it's important to have a clear mind the hardware you need to order from Kisi.
Controller (must have)
The controller is the only must-have piece of hardware for this integration.
This piece of hardware is going to be wired to your door. It does the link between the door and Kisi. This is how Kisi can control your door and send orders to open the door or stay put.
Without this piece of hardware, we cannot make the link between what happens on the software and what happens in the real world.

Reader (optional)
The reader is only necessary if you want to use proximity proof (see).
Thanks to the reader and using Bluetooth, we will know that your members' phone is next to the door when they try to open it.

Other cases
In the case you already have a controller or reader from another provider, and you wish to keep them. You'll have to check with Kisi which hardware is needed to make your previous hardware compatible with the new one.
Anyway, you'll have to order a controller.
Delivery time and custom fees
Kisi is based in the US. Take into account a 1-month delivery time if you are in Europe. Also, it is important to check the customs fees in your country when it comes to deliveries from the US.
