How to resolve the issue of a customer who has activated her gift card but does not see the balance in her account

This article discusses how to view a member's remaining balance on their gift card

When a gift card is activated on a client’s account, the balance does not appear as a visible credit on the account. It is not treated like a positive account balance or credit.

During the member’s next purchase, the gift card amount will be automatically deducted from the total.

Gift cards can be used for all products except subscriptions, which are not compatible.

You can check a member's remaining balance of their gift card on their profile under "Gift Cards"

If a member wants to check the remaining balance on their gift card, they can do so from their member profile on the web under the “My giftcards” section.
