New Branded App — Branding & White-labeling

How a studio's colors and logo show up across their Branded App.

Every Branded App is published under the studio's own name on the App Store and Google Play — and it's designed to feel like their app from the moment a member opens it. That look and feel comes from two things set up in the bsport back office: a primary colour and a logo.

These are the only branding options available right now, and once they're set, they automatically show up in the right places across the app — no extra setup needed.

Used as the app's overall background colour, with some display rules depending on the screen

Both need to be set before the Branded App can go live — there's no default logo or colour, so studios (or bsport on their behalf) need to add both.

Where the branding shows up

Welcome screen

This is the very first screen a member sees, before they log in or sign up. It shows:

  • The studio's logo, centred on screen

  • The primary colour as a soft background gradient (rather than a flat block of colour, to keep things feeling light and airy)

  • Three buttons at the bottom: Start exploring, Log in, and Sign up

Studio tab

The studio's logo also shows up here, in the part of the app dedicated to the studio's own content and identity.

Everywhere else

The primary colour is used as the background colour throughout the app, though exactly how and where it shows up can vary a bit depending on the screen.

Updates happen instantly

Change the logo or colour in the back office, and it updates in the app right away — no app rebuild or App Store resubmission needed.

A couple of things to know

  • Each studio has one logo and one primary colour. For a franchise app, the branding switches automatically depending on which studio the member currently has selected.

  • Custom fonts, secondary colours, and icon styles aren't configurable yet.
