New Branded App — Franchise App

How the Franchise App works for studio groups with multiple locations, including studio switching and onboarding.

The Franchise App is built for studio groups running multiple locations under one shared brand — instead of a separate app per location, everything lives in a single app, and members can switch between studios whenever they like.

Everything else works just like the standard Branded App — same schedule, same booking flow, same profile. The one thing that's different is the studio switcher, which lets members change which studio they're currently viewing.

Getting started

First time opening the app (no account yet)
Members are asked to pick their studio location first, from a list organised by area. From there, they can:

  • Start exploring without an account

  • Log in to an existing account

  • Sign up for a new one

Logging in
Returning members pick their studio, then log in as usual — landing on that studio's homepage.

Signing up
New members pick their studio, fill in that studio's sign-up form, and land on its homepage. Whether their account also works at other studios in the franchise depends on how things are set up behind the scenes — more on that below.

Switching studios

Members can switch studios anytime from the Studio tab:

  1. Go to the Studio tab

  2. Tap the studio selector

  3. A list of franchise studios appears, organised by area

  4. Pick a different one

  5. The app reloads with that studio's schedule, branding, and content

When they switch, the branding (colour and logo) updates too, to match whichever studio they've picked.

How accounts work across studios

This depends on how the franchise's studios are set up:

Setup

What it means for members

Synced

Their account works at every studio in the franchise as soon as they sign up

Split

Their account only becomes active at a studio once they've actually navigated to it in the app

One more thing to know: passes and subscriptions are tied to the specific studio they were bought at, unless the studios are set up to share them.
