If your franchise offers the same shared pass in more than one studio, a pass bought in studio A can also become available in studio B. For that to happen, 2 things need to be true:
the member needs an account in studio B
the same shared pass needs to be available in studio B
What you can do
Shared passes let studios offer the same pass across more than one studio in the same franchise.
That means a member can:
buy a pass in one studio
use that same pass in another studio in the franchise
keep the same balance and validity across the studios where the pass is available
Common use cases
A member buys a pass in studio A, then wants to use it in studio B
This is the main cross-studio use case.
The pass can become available in studio B if:
the member has an account in studio B
the same shared pass is available in studio B
If one of those conditions is missing, the pass will not be available there.
If the member already has an account in studio B
If the member already has an account in studio B and the same shared pass is available there, the pass is expected to become available in studio B as well.
In some franchise setups, that can take a little longer and may not happen immediately, even when the setup is correct.
If the member does not have an account in studio B yet
If the member does not have an account in studio B, the pass will not be available there yet.
Opening or logging in to studio B is not always enough on its own. The member also needs an account in studio B, and the same shared pass needs to be available there.
How it works
When a member buys a shared pass in one studio, that pass can also become available in other studios in the same franchise.
Once the pass is available in more than one studio, it stays aligned across those studios. That means:
the remaining credits stay the same
the validity dates stay the same
if the pass is no longer active, that stays the same in the other studios too
If the member later gets access to another studio where the same shared pass is available, the pass can also appear there later.
Important behaviours
The most important rule is simple:
if the member does not exist in the other studio, the pass will not appear there
if the same shared pass is not available in the other studio, the pass will not appear there
If both conditions are met, the pass can become available in the other studio.
⚠️ In some cases, especially when the member already has accounts in both studios, the pass may not appear straight away even when the setup is correct. If that happens, check the member account and the shared pass setup in both studios.
FAQ
Can I use the same pass in another studio in the franchise?
Yes, if you have an account in that studio and the same shared pass is available there.
Why can't I see my pass in the other studio yet?
Usually, one of these is missing:
you do not have an account in the other studio yet
the same shared pass is not available in that studio
In some cases, the pass can also appear a little later even when the setup is correct.
What should I do if the pass still does not appear?
Contact the studio and ask them to check:
that your account exists in the second studio
that the same shared pass is available in both studios
