Terminology changes in the new Back Office

Several terms are changing with the new Back Office navigation, live from 27 July 2026. This article lists what's changed, what each term means, and where you'll see it — use it as a reference alongside any how-to article.

Why have these names changed?

Class (previously Session): used consistently across the product for a single instance of a class.

Venue (previously Establishment): a simpler, more everyday word for where classes happen.

Central Account (previously Master Account): a more inclusive and modern term for multi-location accounts.

Lead, Customer, and Client: these let you talk about someone at every stage of their relationship with your studio, not just once they're a paying member.
