Overview
Insights dashboards let you filter, sort, and adjust a report to match how you work. Any adjustment you make stays private to you and does not change what other users see.
This article explains two related things:
Custom views : the private, unnamed history of your changes, kept automatically whenever you adjust a dashboard.
Saved views : a view you name and keep, so you can reopen it whenever you need it.
It also covers how to create a saved view, rename or delete one, set a default, and switch between views.
Scope: saved views in Insights are personal to your account today. Sharing a saved view with a colleague is not available yet.
What You Can Do
Filter, sort, or adjust an Insights dashboard without changing what other users see.
Save your adjustments as a named saved view.
Reopen a saved view at any time to pick up where you left off.
Set a saved view as your default, so it opens automatically the next time you visit that dashboard.
Rename or delete a saved view.
Switch between your saved views, your recent custom views, and the default (published) view.

How It Works
Custom views: your space to explore
As soon as you filter, sort, or otherwise adjust an Insights dashboard, bsport keeps track of your changes as a custom view. Custom views are:
Private : only you can see them.
Unnamed : listed by the date and time they were created, under the bookmark icon's Custom views tab.
Convenient for a quick look back, but not built to be found again easily since they have no name.
Use a custom view when you are exploring data and are not yet sure you want to keep the result.
Saved views: name it and keep it
On the Insights dashboard, select the bookmark icon on the toolbar. Choose "Save as new view", give it a name you will recognize later, and optionally set it as your default view, then confirm.
Use a saved view when you come back to the same filter combination regularly, for example a monthly report for one location.
Renaming or deleting a saved view
Select the bookmark icon, then "Manage saved views". Find the view in your list and select its options menu (the three dots) to rename it or delete it.
To reflect new adjustments in a saved view, save your current changes as a new view rather than editing the old one in place, then delete the outdated one if you no longer need it.
Switching between views
Select the bookmark icon, then "Manage saved views", to see your saved views and your recent custom views side by side in two tabs. Select any entry to switch to it immediately.
Select "Exit view" from the bookmark icon to return to the default, published version of the dashboard, with no personal filters or adjustments applied.
Important Behaviors
Saved views are personal. There is no option today to share a saved view with other users on your account: each person creates and manages their own.
A saved view is still built on the live dashboard. If a filter used in a saved view is later removed from the dashboard itself, it is also removed from the saved view.
FAQ
Q: What is the difference between a custom view and a saved view?
A custom view is tracked automatically the moment you adjust a dashboard. It has no name and is private to you. A saved view is a view you have named and kept on purpose, so you can find and reopen it anytime.
Q: Can I share a saved view with a colleague?
Not yet. Saved views in Insights are personal to your account today.
Q: Will my saved view change if the report itself is updated?
Your personal filters and adjustments stay in place, but a saved view is still built on the live dashboard. If bsport changes something the view depends on (for example, removing a filter), that change carries through to your saved view.
