Two options are available to filter the data in your reports:

  • Quick filters: as the name suggests, this method is faster and requires fewer user inputs.

  • Filtered views: this system is useful to easily switch between different filters, and offers more precise filtering thanks to and/or rules management.

Note that it is possible to apply both quick filters and a filtered view to the report. In this case, the items of the report would have to match both sets of filters.

Option 1: Using quick filters

  • Reporting > Select a report > Add a filter > Select which column you want to filter on.

  • Configure the quick filter. The options available depend on the type of data for the selected column.

  • Don't forget to generate your report again.

  • You can add other quick filters to the first one. Note that the rule between filters will be "and": the filtered items will have to match all the filters. In the example below, the payments displayed will be dated 22/08 AND be of an amount under 50€.

  • A quick filter can be removed simply by clicking on the cross button and generating the report again.

Note: If you want to export the report, be aware that it will be filtered according to the quick filters!

Option 2: Using filtered views

Add filtered views to your reports to easily switch from one set of filters to another.

To add a filtered view:

  • Report > Select a report > Add a filter > Add a filtered view.

  • Choose a name

  • Choose a rule between filters: And / Or

  • And: The filtered items will have to match all the filters.

For example, if you are creating a report on payments, and want to filter out payments greater than or equal to 50 Euros AND having been made by credit card.

This will only show you payments greater than 50 Euros that were made by credit card.

  • Or: The filtered items should match at least one filter.

For example, if you are reporting on payments, and want to filter out payments greater than 50 Euros OR payments with transaction fees greater than or equal to 5 Euros.

This will show you your payments greater than 50 Euros and your payments with transaction fees greater than or equal to 5 Euros.

  • Next, select different elements to filter, according to the different columns of your report, and choose between a normal filter or a filter group.

  • A filter group allows you to apply a different rule and/or all filters within the group.

For example, for a payment report, you can choose to create a filter that shows you all "data with a price greater than or equal to 50 Euros" And also having a "transaction fee greater than or equal to 5 Euros Or a payment method by Card, Cash, Check".

  • Click on Save

  • Don't forget to generate your report again

Note: If you want to export the report, be aware that it will be filtered according to the filtered view!
