Can I send direct messages to parents?

Parents and sitters are able to message one another in the following situations: when a parent has sent a sitter a request, when a sitter has applied for a job, or when a parent has a Premium subscription and starts a conversation with a sitter.

Application notes will appear in the parent’s inbox as messages for up to one day after the booking has been confirmed, cancelled or expired. For sitters, however, these will only remain visible if the parent replies.
