Sitters on Bubble are an incredibly diverse and talented group of people, and we know they’re ready and willing to support busy families who need other forms of help, aside from childcare.
Our Tasks booking feature on Bubble allows parents to post requests for other types of jobs, which sitters can review and apply to. You can find Tasks bookings by selecting the dedicated Tasks option on the homepage.
These jobs are then booked and paid for through the app, very much like how a typical babysitting job works on Bubble. There is no pre-defined list of jobs that a parent can request, but some examples of the types of jobs parents book using our Tasks feature are:
Cleaning
Tutoring
Party help
Elderly companionship
General errands and tasks
These jobs operate on a per-hour basis, using the sitter’s standard babysitting rate, however, it’s very easy for parents and sitters to discuss alternative arrangements via the app, to utilise our Dynamic Pricing feature and to account for them on the job receipt before paying at the end.
