What happens after I've accepted the sit?

Once you’ve accepted a sit request, you will receive email confirmation and the sit status in your app will change to "confirmed".

The email confirmation will show the details of the sit and the parents' full address and mobile number.

You’re also able to message the parent in the app if you need further details (or just to say hi!) before the sit starts.

The sit will start automatically at the agreed time and you’ll see the active booking in your app. The active booking page tracks the duration of the sit, lets you message or call the parent, and also allows you to stop the booking when the parents get home, if they don’t stop it themselves.

In the event that a parent needs to change the sit start time, before the sit begins, they can do this easily in the app. Though of course, they should confirm that change the start time is ok with you first.
