New to Bubble and want to book a sitter? You can either browse through the great sitters on Bubble and request people directly, or send an open request and see who applies.
You will always have full control of the sitter you choose and you can cancel at any time before the booking.
Sending an open request
If you don't have a sitter in mind you can simply click the Book a sitter search bar on the top of your homepage, choose the service you're looking for.
Fill in the request details. We recommend being very clear what you need help on by selecting relevant "What's needed" items and ideally put written instructions in the request.
If you haven't booked a sitter on Bubble before you will be prompted for your child's age, your profile photo and other household information.
You can send a one-off request or repeat dates if you are a Bubble Plus user.
Requesting specific sitters
You may have seen a great sitter in a list on your homepage or have been sent a particular profile. In order to send a request to a specific sitter:
From a list
Click plus on a sitter's card within a list
When you have selected all the sitters you wish to add to the request click "Add to request"
Those sitters will appear in your request form. You can manage them again by clicking on the field
Selected sitters will be notified directly and appear at the top of your live request list so you can quickly see their responses
From request forms
While drafting your request tap on the Request specific sitters field
Select sitters from the list or search for others by name
Depending whether you want others to apply too toggle on or off
Confirming a sitter
If you have sent an open request or let other sitters apply you will always see a list of sitter responses on your Live request page.
Tap through each sitter applicant's card from the list of applicants to see their profile. You can message from here or confirm directly from their profile by clicking "Book Now".
What about the other sitters who applied?
Once you confirm a sitter we let the other sitters know the booking is no longer available. If they've sent application notes these will appear in your Inbox for 7 days.
