Keeping project schedules updated is crucial for seamless operations and accurate time tracking. To update your project schedule, navigate to the "Projects" tab, select the project, and tap on "Edit Project". Scroll to the "Project schedule" section and tap on "Update schedule" to make changes to the days worked, start time, and end time. Submit the changes and confirm them by tapping on "Update" in the "Edit project form". The updated schedule will go into effect on the selected date. Workers using the Buildforce App will see their Project Details updated accordingly.

Keep project details and assignments up-to-date

Project schedules are the backbone of your workforce management, but they aren’t always top of mind to update. We’re displaying your project schedule hours directly on the Project Board so it’s easy to tell if it needs updating.

Keeping your project schedules updated ensures seamless operations and accurate time tracking. This information will be visible to workers as a reference on when to clock in and out. Buildforce also sends reminders to workers to clock in and out based on your project schedule.

How to update your project schedule

Navigate to the "Projects" tab on the left side of your screen. Under your selected project, tap on the icon with the three dots. You will be given the option to "Edit Project" or "Archive Project". Select "Edit Project".

When you tap on "Edit Project", this will bring you to a form with all of your Project details. Scroll to the bottom until you find a section labeled "Project schedule". If this project is currently active, you will be able to see your current schedule. Tap on "Update schedule".

When you tap on "Update schedule", you will be given a screen that allows you to update your project schedule. You will need to include the date that your updated schedule will be effective. Updating your schedule gives you the option to:

  1. Update the days worked.

  2. Update the start time.

  3. Update the end time.

After you had made the necessary changes to your schedule, tap on "Submit". Your updated schedule will be reflected under "Project schedule". This section will show your upcoming schedule and when it will be in effect.

Confirm your schedule changes by tapping on "Update" at the end of the "Edit project form".

Once these steps have been completed, the project's updated Project Schedule will go into effect on the date that you selected. Your workers using the Buildforce App to clock in and out will see their Project Details updated with this information as well.
