What happens if I do not agree with the hours that a worker submitted for me to review?
We understand that there may be discrepancies in time entries every now and then. If you do not agree with the hours that a worker has submitted to you for review, you have the ability to edit the hours for that time entry. Read more about how to make edits to time entries here.
Please keep in mind that the worker you are editing time for will see these changes.
I need to update a worker's shift. How can I do this?
Currently, Buildforce has not enabled individual shift adjustments. However, you can update the project schedule, which will update the schedule for all workers on that project. You can learn how to update project schedules here.
What happens after I approve a worker's hours?
After you approve a worker’s hours, the worker will be notified that the hours that they submitted for review has been approved. Buildforce will invoice you for the hours at the worker’s bill rate.
How do I know when to approve hours?
If you had workers working on your jobs the week prior, you will be notified via email that you have hours to review. The period to review hours will be open on Monday until 5:00pm CST on Wednesday.
What happens if I don't approve hours before 5:00pm CST on Wednesday?
If you do not approve hours and have pending hours to review by 5:00pm CST on Wednesday, Buildforce will auto-approve these hours. Buildforce auto-approve hours to ensure there are no delays with paying workers that partner with Buildforce and contractors.
