Summary of this article
Buildforce allows you to approve time entries submitted by workers on your jobs. Approvals are processed on Wednesdays and cover the previous week's hours worked. Contractors are responsible for approving their workers' time entries by the deadline. Failure to do so will result in Buildforce automatically approving the entries. Approved time entries will be invoiced to you by Buildforce. If you need to make adjustments to a worker's time entry, you can do so, but this will result in the entry being considered approved and adjusted.
Approving time with Buildforce
Approving time with Buildforce allows you to review time entries that have been submitted by workers on your jobs.
You can approve submitted time entries on Monday to Wednesday at 5:00 PM CST for the previous week's hours.
As a part of our system, we depend on our contractors to approve the time entries submitted by Buildforce workers before the deadline. This helps us to ensure that all hours submitted by Buildforce workers are accurate and you are invoiced the correct amount. However, if the time entries are not approved by the deadline, they will be automatically approved. It is important to note that you may not agree with all of the hours that are automatically approved, and therefore it is strongly recommended to review all the submitted hours.
π Please approve all time entries for last week's work by Wednesday at 5:00 PM CST. If you do not approve them by this deadline, Buildforce will automatically approve them.
Approved time entry
When you approve a Buildforce worker's time, you will be invoiced for the bill rate.
Approved and adjusted time entry
If you make changes to a worker's time entries and approve them, these entries will be considered approved and adjusted. The worker will be able to view the adjusted entries on the Buildforce app. If the worker finds any discrepancies between the adjustments you made and what they reported, they can contact support. Our support team will work with both parties to resolve the discrepancy.
